Parents and teachers, watch this first, but I am speaking to students in this one.
I do a lot of teaching students about “how to get organized” and have walked hundreds of kids through organizational processes that are game changers. Today I’ll teach you one of the most powerful tips I know!
In gratitude & service,
Seth

Great tip! I remember watching “The Minimalists” documentary. This one tip always stuck with me. They packed up everything in their house, as if they were moving out. For two weeks, they only unpacked things they immediately needed to use. After two weeks, anything unpacked was given away/discarded.. That is serious decluttering!
Thank you for all the work you do. I get so many helpful ideas from your vids.

Hi Seth, I do this with my wardrobe once per year….take everything out and only put back in what I will actually wear the year ahead. It is a game changer. In a perfect world, I would do this twice per year….but once a year is awesome and cathartic. Thanks for the great video!

I have found this approach to be very helpful. The only thing is, if I pull out every item in a category, I will be overwhelmed, and not get through it all — thus I end up with a big pile of whatever that doesn’t get dealt with. But if I limit myself to one thing – one cupboard, one drawer, etc. and no more than I can sort in half an hour (I set a timer), I keep clutter at bay. I have empty drawers and empty hangers now. It’s wonderful!

excellent insight, love the 30 min timer constraint!
